Samuel Strauss

Bangladesch is the adopted home of Samuel Strauss and his family. They support native leaders and churches with passion and competence. Their Germany furlough in 2009 was only meant to be a time for further education, however, a serious car accident seemed to put a stop to any plans of leaving for Bangladesch again. Samuel can not walk anymore. 

As a student body we have felt closely bonded with him and have seen how he has dealt with this situation. The manner in which he has coped with this life´s crisis has deeply impressed us and with the Ludwig-Krapf-Prize we would like to demonstrate our appreciation and esteem to him .

Samuel and his family returned to Bangladsch in 2011 - on his on feet.
